Welcome to Ysgubor y Graig, a beautifully restored barn located in the tranquil village of Lixwm, North Wales. This modern countryside cottage is perfect for small families or couples, offering a relaxing retreat with all the comforts of home.

The cottage sleeps four people and features two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The unique upside-down layout places the kitchen, lounge, and dining area on the first floor, creating a bright and airy living space. The living room boasts a skylight, two leather sofas, and an electric feature wood burner, making it a cosy spot to unwind.

The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.

The dining room is a highlight, with an exposed stone wall, drop lighting, and a spacious table perfect for family gatherings.

On the ground floor, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with underfloor heating. The second bedroom can be configured as a king or twin room, catering to various guest needs.

The family bathroom also benefits from underfloor heating.

We had such a lovely stay at this barn conversion! The place is super comfy and really well equipped. We loved the little touches like fresh flowers and Halloween decorations that made it feel special. The welcome pack with wine, milk, biscuitsand cake was a nice surprise. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after busy days exploring North Wales, Snowdoniaand Chester. Itâ€™s in a peaceful rural spot but still close enough to the A55 for easy trips around. The owners are genuinely friendly and helpful, which made everything even better. Honestly, this is one of the best cottages weâ€™ve ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful setting!

The welcome gift was a sweet touchand those towels in both bathrooms? Absolutely the best we've come across! The fresh flowers scattered around really made it feel special. We spent most days relaxing in the hot tub, which was just what we needed. We actually slept so well - no noise from the milk tanker or bin men, which was a surprise! Weâ€™ve been here twice nowand honestly, Eryl and Rhian are such warm hosts, it feels like visiting friends. Rhian went out of her way to remember how we liked the second room set up and checked in with us to get it just right - really thoughtful touch. The best part? Meeting the new calf that was born that very morning - we saw her at 2am when she was brought to the nursery, adorable! Itâ€™s a perfect spot for exploring the areaand the Cherry Pie Inn nearby is great for a relaxed meal when you donâ€™t fancy cooking. Definitely recommend it, weâ€™ll be back!

The castle one of the areas most iconic landmarks and features an amazing 75ft high Great Tower! Visitors can also take a tour of the Norman Hall and the Exhibition Rooms where the displays change regularly. There is also a Picnic area and plenty of open space for children to run around in the grounds and gardens. The site also has a cafe and a gift shop.

Dinosaur Park - SA67 8DE

The Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and makes the perfect family day out. Activities on offer include fossil hunting, Dino Crafts, Pat a Pet and the treasure hunt. For both toddlers and older kids there's an indoor adventure playground, ideal when the weather is not on your side. The high-tec activity centre is always popular with interactive fun and education.
